Rilindja English: "Renaissance" first came out on February 12,
1945 in Prizren and was the first newspaper in Albanian in
Yugoslavia. State Printing House printed newspaper in Prizren by
the number 1 to 60-to. 61 Number of newspaper layout and printed
in Pristina Regional Printing House of the People's Front.
In the beginning was only four pages weekly until June 27, 1948,
begins to come twice a week, on Sundays and Thursdays. Then,
from November 1958 starts out daily paper (not just come out on
Fridays). By the year 1964 appears every day in the 20 page
standard, while on Saturdays and holidays 24-32 pages. On
September 5, 1990, the Serbian government banned its
publication, while the entry of NATO forces, on June 12, 1999
