We have been deeply touched by the barbaric
attack against the writer Jevrem Brkovic.
Brkovic is an author belonging to a towering
human ethics, a man who stood on defense of
others at a time when everyone else was
protecting his own self for the last two
decades of violence, horror and barbaric
outrage. He stood in defense of all of those
who were facing that barbarity. Positioning
himself constantly openly on the side of
writers who stood against a furious revival
of fascism in the Balkans at the end of the
20th century, Brkovic became a projector for
the independence of Montenegro in a peaceful
and civilized way. He showed his own
civilizing model on how to realize great
national ideas and projects to all of those
who ruined, burned and mutilated the face of
the Peninsula in the name of big
nationalistic interests.
The attack against the writer Brkovic is an
attack against all of those who believed
that the time of violence against and
intellectuals in the Balkans was gone with a
bitter past being left behind with no one
wishing to recall it. Finding those who
ordered the crime and brining them to
justice is a very important step in order to
restore the trust to all of those who
believe that violence against those who
stand for Fredom and democratic values
should come to an end.

Sulm mbi shkrimtarin e pamposhtur te
Ballkanit
Na ka prekur thelle sulmi barbar mbi
shkrimtarin Jevrem Brkoviq. Brkoviq eshte
shkrimtari i nje etike te larte njerezore,
njeriu qe ka mbrojtur te tjeret, kur te
gjithe mbronin vetem veten ne keto dy
decenie te dhunes, te tmerrit dhe te
terbimit barbar. Ai i ka mbrojtur te gjithe
ata qe gjendeshin perpara kesaj barbarie. I
pozicionuar gjithmone hapur ne anen e
shkrimtareve qe kishin kundershtuar
ngjalljen e furishme te fashizmit ne
Ballkanin e fundit te shekullit XX, Brkoviq
ishte ideator i projektit per Malin e Zi te
pavarur me rruge paqesore e civilizuese. Ai
u ka treguar modelin civilizues te
realizimit te ideve e projekteve te medha
kombetare te gjithe atyre qe rrenuan, dogjen
dhe çoroditen fytyren e ketij gadishulli ne
emer te interesave madhore kombetare.
Sulmi mbi shkrimtarin Brkoviq eshte sulm mbi
te gjithe ata qe kishin besuar se koha e
dhunes mbi shkrimtaret dhe intelektualet ne
Ballkan kish perenduar dhe kish mbetur
perfundimisht pas nesh ne nje te kaluar te
hidhur, te cilen pak kush deshiron ta
kujtoje. Gjetja e atyre qe kane urdheruar
kete krim dhe venia e tyre perpara
drejtesise eshte nje hap shume i rendesishem
per rikthimin e besimit te te gjithe se
dhunes mbi njerezit qe ndertojne ide
liridashese i duhet dhene fund medoemos.
