OSMAN GASHI 1962
CURRICULUM VITAE
Osman Gashi was born in
1962 in Prishtina (Kosova). He teaches the
course of World Literature at Faculty of
Philology in the University of Prishtina. He
studied Albanian Literature in Prishtina
from 1980 -1984.
In 2004 he defended his doctoral
dissertation in the topic: “The presence and
function of mythology in European literature
of Romanticism.
He writes poetry and literary studies mainly
in the field of Comparative Literature.
His publication include: volumes of poetry:
“Beyond the forgetness”, “Rivers of the Sky”
and studies and essays: “Interliterary
studies” and “Myth and the European
Romanticism”
