SAZANA CAPRIQI

CURRICULUM VITAE

Sazana Çapriqi was born in Prishtina where she lives and works. She teaches ‘English Language’ and ‘Literary Translation’ at the University of Prishtina.  She has studied English Language and Literature and has also earned her Masters Degree at the same University and currently is a Ph.D. candidate. Her interest is in gender studies and the topic of her Ph.D. thesis is: “The Poetics of Gender”

She writes essays and does literary translations. She is the founder and Editor in Chief of ‘Sfinga’ (The Sphinx) a cerultural journal of women’s writing published annually in Prishtina.

Sazana Çapriqi ka indur ne Prishtine ku edhe jeton e punon. Jep mesim ne lendet “Gjuhe angleze” dhe “Perkthim Letrar” ne Universitetin e Prishtines. Ka studjuar Gjuhe dhe Letersi Angleze dhe ka mbrojtur titullin Magjister i Shkencave Filologjike po ne kete Universitet ku ben studimet e Doktoratuers ne temen ‘Poetika e shkrimit femeror”.

Shkruan ese dhe merret me perkthime letrare. eshte themeluese dhe kryeredaktore e revistes ‘Sfinga’, nje reviste e pervitshme kulturore per gra qe botohet ne Prishtine.
